Membership Types & Dues




No fee for meetings. Active or job-seeking HR professionals; individuals certified by the Human Resources Certification Institute; faculty members holding an assistant, associate or full professor rank in HR management or any of its specialized functions at an accredited college or university; full-time consultants with at least three years experience in the field of HR management; full-time attorneys with at least three years experience in advising clients on matters relating to the HR profession. Professional Members may vote and hold office in the Association.


Same as above but who is not a current SHRM national member or whose membership has expired.


$50 (one time fee) RETIRED: 

$20 for events. HR professionals who have retired from active service in the human resource profession. Retired Members may vote and hold office in the Association.


$50 (each year) STUDENT:

Non-working, current full time undergraduate or graduate, 12 hours or more in the HR program. If working in a full time position, you may not qualify at the Student rate regardless of the number of credits currently enrolled in. (Please note: you may be asked for official transcripts)



Individuals who do not meet requirements for Professional membership but who demonstrate a bona fide interest in human resource management and the mission of the Association. Associate Members may not vote or hold office in the Association, but may serve on committees.
