This presentation will provide tips for implementing and maintaining a Human Capital Management (HCM) solution, whether in-house or outsourced. The following topics will be covered:

  • HR System considerations
  • Data and System Maintenance
  • Metrics and Reporting
  • Navigating the Changing Business Environment
  • Privacy, Security and Accessibility
  • The Near-Future of HR Technology

Participants will learn about HCM technology solutions along with the planning and active partnerships, both internally and externally, required for using the software successfully.



Sue Wuesthoff, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, GBA has over 20 years of experience implementing and maintaining HCM software solutions.  She consulted for an HR software company and worked as a business analyst for large HCM companies.  Her clients have ranged from small and medium sized companies to Fortune 100 and 500 employers, across various industries.  Sue has hands-on systems experience with all aspects of the employment cycle (from hiring to termination processes), health/welfare/retirement benefits, HR compliance and leaves/absence management.  She brings an uncommon perspective, having worked in both the HR client service industry and in an HR office as a practitioner and system user.  

Sue is eager to share lessons learned (sometimes the hard way!) for successful partnership(s) between a company and its HCM vendor(s).
