PROGRAM TITLE:  GOAL ACCOMPLISHMENT AND CRITICAL THINKING - A Model for Embracing Change and Achieving Exceptional Results in Work and Life


PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Through a focus on self-exploration and experiential learning, participants will uncover what is preventing goal accomplishment. Participants will learn a new model for navigating challenging change, improve critical thinking skills, their ability to influence as well improve their leadership.  In addition, participants will walk through exercises to apply this model.  Through short lecture, paired activity, small and large group activity, participants will gain a new perspective on how (and why) people succeed (and fail) at achieving goals in business and life.

Participants will learn the following:

  • How people succeed (and fail) at creating long term professional and personal change
  • A strategic seven step model for creating sustainable professional and personal success
  • How to lead strategically in your professional and personal roles as well as influence others in accomplishing their goals
  • How to more effectively handle challenging professional and personal change and work/life stressors
  • Practical tips to apply and follow up opportunities you can access as ongoing resources for navigating change and achieving more in work and life



Michael Diettrich Chastain LPC, is an author, speaker, professional coach and consultant dedicated to peak performance. He specializes in working with leaders and teams that want to reduce stress, create more time in their schedule, improve emotional intelligence, create better communication practices as well as build more engaged, happy and profitable workplaces. Michael firmly believes that self-discovery translates to a business setting and is accomplished within the client or business’s own unique experience.


Michael has an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Spanish as well as a Master’s Degree in Counseling. Michael is a Licensed Professional Counselor in North Carolina. In addition to his background and experience in psychology, Michael is a Certified Communication Coach as well as a trained facilitator in the Advanced Insights Profile, Actualized Leadership Profile and Group Culture Profile.


As a leadership coach, Michael has helped organizational leaders and teams become more effective in recognizing how to inspire, engage, resolve conflict and communicate with others. Through coaching, Michael helps individuals recognize and develop strengths in order to become more effective in their careers and personal lives.
