PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

Companies that avoid change risk becoming obsolete. Companies that change just for the sake of change or chase after the latest fads and trends, risk burnout and “change fatigue.” This presentation outlines the need for a comprehensive change plan while outlining HR’s strategic role as the organizational architect through the change process. Participants will learn how to assess the organization’s readiness for change, build a culture of trust within the organization, create a culture of change, and how to facilitate the change process. The presentation also differentiates between change management and change leadership and how right-brained thinking and left-brained thinking contributes to the successful implementation of change within the organization.

Participants will learn how to:

  • become a contributing partner in their organization’s strategic planning process
  • develop, influence, and execute strategies for managing organizational change that balance the expectations and needs of the organization, its employees, and its stakeholders, and
  • develop and direct proactive employee relations strategies specifically related to employee engagement and productivity.
